ASPHALT

There are a number of different types of aggregate including crushed stone, gravel, and sand. Recycled asphalt and concrete also can serve as construction aggregates. Aggregate materials are a component of composite materials such as concrete and asphalt; the aggregate serves as reinforcement to add strength to the overall composite material. Aggregate materials can be used as a stand alone product in highway, utility, railroad, commercial and residential building, and site development construction as well as projects such as landscaping and home improvement. Additionally, we have a portable three-bin pugmill plant available to service aggregate blending requirements.

Aggregate is available at both United Materials locations (Main Office, Ranch Pit).
